Honestly?

Floral patterns can quickly get overdone during spring and summer.
I decided to switch it up with my stripes, what say?
Not going to lie this outfit did get a little warm for the temperature in Vancouver right now….18 degrees Celsius, Yay!
However, I was heading for a lunch meeting at a pretty fancy restaurant indoors, so this ended up being appropriate after all!
I especially adore the fact that this look can be worn during the day and through night as well. So there is no need for an outfit change during rushed times.
As you know from my previous posts, I am obsessed with fedoras and I think wearing one with this look adds the right touch of elegance and femininity to it!
There are so many ways to dress striped pants like these, especially if they are neutral colors like black and white.
I chose to make these pants formal wear today, but I have also dressed it down before and worn it with a casual grey tee- which also looks pretty cute, excuse my lack of modesty here.
