Hi peeps!
So firstly, I want to start this post thanking eShakti for sending me this beautiful dress as a present- it has been an absolute honour collaborating with you! ❤
Ladies, you have got to go to www.eshakti.com. There are so many gorgeous dresses, pants, skirts and tops to chose from, I promise you will not be disappointed. I literally spent hours and hours on their website and wanted to buy it all!
What is special about this brand is that you can order your outfit based on your exact measurements which allows for a perfect fitting- and trust me that makes such a difference on how the outfit looks on you.
Another reason for you to shop there, is the value for money part! Use the DISCOUNT CODE of my blog’s title, “theopenjournal” to get a 10% reduction on all your purchases, valid until the end of this month! (04/30/2016).
The dress I am wearing right now is called the Poplin Notch Dress, and comes in black and blue. I absolutely adore the cute sailor girl vibes this look has going on , as well as the light cloth material it is made up of- perfect for this increasingly warm season.
This dress can be worn in various ways, I chose to dress it down with combat boots (Ardene) and a leather jacket (Promode) to fit my casual beach hang out with my friends. However, with a pair of heels and a nice hair up do, this could make a nice formal dinner dress too!
Speaking of hair dos, I just got a hair cut from this amazing hair parlor I found out about called D & K Professional Hair & Nail Beauty Salon located on Robson Street. In a mere 30 minutes, they washed, cut, and curled my hair for $50! Not bad, am I right?
Shorter hair is second nature to me as I have always had long hair, but in this heat- this feels so much cooler and light, so I have no complaints!
What do you think of it?
Until tomorrow! Thanks for the reads.
Tasha
