Grass Gains

Hey guys!

So grass is great to lie on when trying to work on a nice tan without having to worry about getting sandy or having the ground pound at your back the whole time.
But, grass is even better to drink. And yes you did read that right.
I am taking about Wheat Grass specifically.

Booster Juice’s speciality section of their menu includes single/double shots of a grinded Wheatgrass drink. My friends and I decided to give it a try, and they made fresh in front of us. Though I found it pretty bitter initially, I must admit it had a soothing, subtle sweet aftertaste.

Why would we do such a random thing you may ask? Well, there are various health benefits to drinking this plant including:

-Provision of a good source of nutrients, as it is enriched vitamin A, vitamin C, and vitamin E, iron, calcium, magnesium, and amino acids. Therefore, contributing to good skin and hair.
-Increment of the production of Haemoglobin which is especially good for preventing tooth decays, and improving diabetes and wound healing.
-Prevention of the onset of arthritis due to it’s high content of chlorophyll.

And these are only some of it’s benefits…

Safety First: Make sure you don’t have this drink on an empty stomach as some people do feel slightly nauseous otherwise, and make sure you are not allergic as that is quite common.

Have a green and great Tuesday,
Tasha
