Top Vancouver Coffee Spots

Hello!

Whether you need some caffeine to wake up, a cozy ambiance to catch up with a friend, or simply a place to get some work done- a cafe is the first thing that comes to mind.
Over my 6 years of living here, I have definitely come to have some preferences, and I thought I’d share my top 5 with you!

  • 49th Parallel Roasters
    2902 Main St
What I especially love about this place is the peanut butter and jelly donuts, they are to die for. Also, the extremely homely atmosphere with an adorable Tiffany blue theme. It’s always busy in here though, so be ready to possibly have to wait for a bit.
  • Bump and Grind
    3010 Granville Street
A really good variety of healthy and delicious snacks here, chic decor, and fast service. With only a few seats, it’s more of a “grab and dash” stop or somewhere to quickly catch up with a neighbor after some grocery shopping at Meinhardt next door.
  • Bean Around The World
     2528 Main St
If you are looking to get away and have some peace and quiet, this is the place to go. Plenty of far apart seating, as well as a huge sofa and carpet lounging area, is available in this space. Great for meetings and study groups as well!
  • JJ Bean
    1188 Alberni Street
Such beautiful architecture here with glass walls providing a scenic view of the highrises in Vancouver’s downtown. You don’t only get some good coffee and snacks here, but also hearty meals like a chicken sandwich with a salad.
  • Buro
    356 Water Street
I’ve never been to Europe, I know it’s horrifying, but Gastown always allows me to pretend I’m there. I always make it a point to have coffee from Buro whenever I’m in that area. Glass windows, modernistic decor and a great selection of teas, snacks, and coffees. It is always packed with people, but the continuous chitter chatter adds to the cafe’s charm.

Let me know if you guys have any other places in mind that I need to try, always looking to discover new gems.Love,
    Tasha
