Fave Beauty Picks!

Hi ladies,

So I recently got sent a bunch of beauty products to try out and review. Out of all those, I picked my favorites and here they are. Do give them a try and tell me your thoughts!

Marc Anthony’s Volumizing Collagen Bamboo Conditioner($10):
I’ve already been using their coconut oil shampoo and conditioner, and this one is just as great. What I especially love about these products is the fact that they are sulfate free- fewer chemicals on your hair, therefore less damage.

Marc Anthony’s Argan Oil of Morocco 3 Day Blow Dry Cream($8):
This serum literally kills frizz. Whether you have curly, wavy, or straight hair- get ready to say goodbye to those pesky flyaways. Also, this baby adds a nice shiny coat and great smell to your mane.

Kiss’s Acrylic Nude French Nails($10):
I have promised myself I won’t ever get acrylic nail extensions. They completely damage my nail beds and are a big hassle. These stick-ons are perfect for the days you want to have some gorgeous and clean looking nails without having to commit to them for the whole month(or spending a fortune). Fell in love!

Kiss’s Blooming Lashes($10):
These lashes have a 3-Level Variation, which is my favorite kind of combination for falsies as they provide an incredibly sexy feminine look. They can be reused at least 7 times if cleaned and stored properly. Worth it!

Kiss’s Top Brow Pencil($13):
Not going to lie, eyebrow pencils are not my preferred type of way to fill in my eyebrows. I find the process a little too time-consuming. However, I can totally vouch for the texture and realistic color match of this product. I love that it has an eyebrow brush attached to the other end.

Essie’s Quick Dry Top Coat and Nail Polishes($9):
Good variety of colors, the polishes last for at least a week on my nails without chipping, and the price is fair I’d say. For impatient people like me, I highly recommend the quick dry coat- my nails were completely dry in 10 minutes.

Maybelline Master Bronze($14):
All different tones of brown for you to play with depending on the look you want to go for. Love the darker shades for a night-time heavy contour, and the lighter ones for a day-time natural glow.

Maybelline Dream Bouncy Blush($11):
For all of you cream contour lovers, this blush is the most blendable and smooth one I have come across so far. There is a huge range of colors to choose from too, each with the perfect amount of shine.

Body Shop’s Italian Summer Fig Fragrance($15):
This fragrance leaves one smelling fresh and fruity. Though I’m usually a more floral/musky scent type of girl, I liked this one. Perfect to spray on right after a shower.

Maybelline Fit Me! Blush in Deep Rose($10):
I love the pigment in this product, super popping! I personally use the blush as an eyeshadow just because I prefer more pink/rosy shades on my cheeks, and this one has a purple tinge to it. Here is a picture of the look I created with this. Perfect for fall no? For my lips, I used the Maybelline Lipsticks and Liquid Lip Color($10)
in the color possessed plum. I have posted the detailed directions on how to get to get this look below.

Makeup directions:
-Start off by moisturizing skin, then priming, after which apply a generous amount of foundation.
-Fill in eyebrows, then gel them back with an eyebrow gel to hold in place.
-Apply concealer under your eyes, on your eyelids(to prime), on your nose bridge and forehead.
-Brush some translucent powder all over your face to hold all that cream on your face in place.
-Lightly bronze and contour your forehead, cheekbones, jaw and nose, then apply a deep pink blush with a purple tinge to your cheeks.
-Smoke your entire eyelid and skin under your waterline with a deep purple eyeshadow.
-Apply some light gold shimmer to the centre of your eyelids.
-Feather some shimmer to highlight the top of your cheekbones, your brow bones, the tip of your nose, under your chin, and your cupids bow.
-Apply mascara to your bottom and top lashes, then finish up the look with  a deep red/purple lipstick. Conceal around the lips to define the shape.

Lots of love,
Tasha
