Vancouver’s most Instagrammable & delicious eateries.

Hi friends!

As a foodie, I can confidently say that over my 6 years in Vancouver, I have explored a good majority of the restaurants around. Living in today’s social media era I thought I would list my current top 5 picks of the prettiest places to go to for a meal so that you can get a good picture – while still appeasing your taste buds.

Botanist
1038 Canada Place
As its name suggests, Botanist is decorated with all of nature’s glorious creations, truly providing for a gorgeous experience. This restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, dinner as well as features a nice cocktail bar and lounge. Talk about a full package! Note that prices do lean towards the upper tier, however, with gourmet meals like the ones served here- you will definitely get bang for the buck.

D/6 Bar & Lounge
39 Smithe St – Parq Vancouver Hotel
Being a city girl, dining with the views of the cityscape around me is always a blissful experience – and this something D/6 offers beautifully. However, there is an equally gorgeous indoor seating option for those who prefer more closed and intimate vibes. D/6 features a vast menu with unique cocktails and finger-foods – I especially love their iced popsicles which are available in sangria or vodka & watermelon-kiwi flavors.

Water Street Cafe
300 Water Street
This Italian restaurant is located right opposite the famous Steam Clock in Gastown and has seating options either outside on their patio or inside (which would still feature the outside view because of their glass windows all around). During the daytime, it is a cute & chic restaurant to get some delicious brunch from and by night it becomes this romantic and sophisticated spot to indulge in some fine authentic Italian food.

Reflections
801 West Georgia Street – Hotel Georgia
What is really special about this restaurant is that it features different lounging options, you can choose to sit on couches, high tables, low tables – you name it! Also, all the seating arrangements are nicely spread apart and are decorated with various items like trees and fountains – giving everyone privacy and a beautiful experience too! This eatery features a delicious range of brunch, lunch and dinner options from Belgian waffles to Ceviche.

Heirloom Vegetarian
1509 W 12th Avenue
This restaurant offers socially conscious, locally sourced, organic, vegan/vegetarian meals – many Vancouverite’s dream dining experience! It is located in a heritage building and has an elegantly simplistic and contemporary vibe to it. It is usually quite busy, so always be ready for a bit of a wait – the extra minutes will be worth it.
