Hi babes,
Now that we are officially in spring’s full bloom, I thought it would be an appropriate time to recap on all my favorite looks from winter last season.
Let’s just jump right into it!
*Heads up, I noticed that a few of the pieces I mention below are out of stock now, however, keep checking in for restocks as well as for similar versions.
Purple & pink patterned sweater—Shein.
It’s always a little hard to style overtly loud and bold pieces like this without looking over-the-top, but I have learned that keeping all other items within the same, neutral color scheme really works well.
Faux fur jacket—Urban Planet.
This was a staple for me over the winter, it’s the perfect outwear item to wear to add some extra glam to a look, plus it was quite warming.
Black coat—Uniqlo.
Just like a little black dress is a must-have in a closet, I believe so is a big black coat. An item like this really adds dimension to a casual look, making for an overall more stylish appearance.
Plaid Scarf—Romwe.
A chunky scarf is always a cute (and practical) look to sport during cold and windy winters. A plaid print is always a chic look to wear in any form. Combine them together, and voila! Perfection.
Faux snakeskin booties—Romwe.
These boots were a trending item this past winter, I can’t promise they will still be trending next year, but in general, a loud patterned accessory always adds some zing to a look. So if let’s say, zebra print is in next year, well find cute booties to style in that pattern and you will stand out for sure.
Thigh high socks—From Rachel.
Thigh high socks add some serious personality to a more simple look and I highly recommend investing in a pair, you will find that they can be styled in many ways.
Bold color skirt—H&M.
Winter wear is known to be more neutral colored, sometimes that can get a bit repetitive and boring, so stand out from the crowd and showcase a statement piece like this skirt.
Poncho/Scarf—Dynamite.
These pieces of clothing are honestly one of my absolute favorites. They are super chic, and also super comfy. Since they can be a little flowy, I usually wear a sling bag across to pin everything together nicely.
Blue blazer-H&M.
Refer to above about how wearing a popping colour in the winter is amazing. Also, were everything last year, let’s hope they stay cool next year too!
Plaid pants—Zaful.
This print was a hot favourite last year, I still see people wearing this and I believe they are an evergreen pattern and will remain appropriate throughout the seasons.
Teddy Coat—Zaful.
I might add that I bought mine in a larger size than I would usually go for, teddy bear coats look best somewhat baggy in my opinion. I can see myself wearing this piece even in the spring to be honest.
That’s all for now ladies, time to start brainstorming my spring fashion content. Stay tuned on my Instagram page for that.
Love,
Tasha
